2. Information We Collect

Files You Process. When you use our image tools (compress, resize, convert, crop, transparent corners, SVG to PNG, and favicon generator), your files are processed entirely within your web browser using Canvas, FileReader, and Blob APIs. We do not upload, store, or transmit your files to our servers.

Personal Information. imgi.io does not require user registration, accounts, or login. We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any personally identifiable information from our users.

Usage Data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard server logs, including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are used solely for operational purposes such as security monitoring, performance optimization, and preventing abuse. They are not used for tracking or profiling individual users.

3. Cookies and Tracking

imgi.io uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymous usage data. GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish users and sessions. Clarity sets first-party and third-party cookies to capture behavioral data such as page views, clicks, and scroll activity. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. 4. External Services

Google Analytics. imgi.io uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data through cookies. For details on how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use and interact with our website. Clarity may collect behavioral and technical usage data, including page views, clicks, mouse movements, scrolling activity, page rendering information, and device and browser information. This data may be presented to us through analytics, heatmaps, and session replays. Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. We use the information to analyze website usage, diagnose technical issues, improve usability, performance, and security, and enhance our services. We do not use Microsoft Clarity for personalized advertising. Microsoft may process this information in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

send.imgi.io. Our "Send" tool links to send.imgi.io, a separate service that temporarily stores content for cross-device transfer. Content on send.imgi.io is automatically deleted after 48 hours. Please refer to the send.imgi.io privacy policy for details on that specific service.

Cloudflare. imgi.io is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to data processed through their network.

5. Data Security

All connections to imgi.io are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Since your files are processed locally in your browser, there is no server-side risk of data exposure. For more information, see our Security page.

6. Children's Privacy

imgi.io is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
